A WORKED TASK
Turn two CSV columns into a bar chart
The example pairs a City label with a Learners count. Select those columns, generate the chart and check each bar against the table. Change one count and regenerate before downloading PNG. This is useful for a quick visual summary rather than a full analytics dashboard.
The current chart type is a bar chart. It does not infer trends, statistical significance or causal explanations, and it does not run arbitrary plotting packages. Chart generation is local browser work.
What to check
- Keep labels in one column and numeric values in another.
- Check that the selected numeric column contains actual numbers, not formatted currency text.
- Review the rendered labels before export; very long names or many rows can reduce readability.

- Processing
- Code and supported files are processed in this browser tab. Runtime tools download Python WebAssembly, but do not intentionally upload your source.
- Important limitation
- The browser runtime is intentionally isolated and may not include every desktop package, system command or network feature. Verify production programs in their target Python environment.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Python Data Visualizer FAQ
Does this upload my code or files?
No. Processing happens locally in your browser. Runtime tools download Python itself, but your source is not sent to our server.
Why can the first Python run take longer?
The browser downloads and starts the Python WebAssembly runtime. Later runs in the same tab are normally much faster.
Can I stop a program that takes too long?
Yes. Runtime tools show a Stop button while Python is working. Stopping terminates the isolated worker and a clean runtime starts when needed.
