COMMON QUESTIONS
URL to PDF FAQ
Is rendered HTML the same as view-source?
Not exactly. The download captures the DOM after the page renders, so JavaScript-created content may be included. It does not bypass CORS, logins or a website’s security.
Can URL to PDF convert private or signed-in pages?
No. The hosted converter accepts public pages only and does not receive your cookies, passwords or private-session credentials.
Why might a protected website fail to convert?
Some sites block automated browsers, require a login or delay content beyond the rendering timeout. The tool reports the failure rather than returning a misleading blank file.
