Choose PDF for reports, receipts and long pages that should be paginated. The public page must load without a login and may still apply its own print stylesheet.
Choose a full-page PNG when exact appearance matters more than selectable text. Very tall pages create large image files and lazy-loaded sections may depend on the source site.
Choose rendered HTML to inspect the DOM after client-side scripts have run. It is not the original server source and it cannot bypass access controls or anti-automation rules.
