Removing duplicates from the sample produces [8, 4, 15, 16, 23, 42]. Chunking by three creates three groups with lengths 3, 3 and 2.

JavaScript Array Utilities
Parse an array, remove duplicates, sort, reverse, shuffle, chunk and calculate numeric summaries.
Ready in your browser

A WORKED TASK
Clean a JSON array without losing the original
The sample contains repeated 8 and 4 values. Choose Remove duplicates to keep their first occurrences, then compare Sort ascending, Reverse and Chunk by 3. Restore the sample between experiments so every operation starts from the same original array.
This utility transforms a parsed JSON array, not arbitrary JavaScript expressions. Shuffle is for ordinary ordering, not regulated draws. Numeric summaries can coerce values, so use actual numbers for meaningful statistics.
What to check
- Enter valid JSON: quote strings with double quotes and omit trailing commas.
- Numeric sorting differs from alphabetical sorting; mixed values may be compared as strings.
- Duplicate removal compares serialized values. Objects with differently ordered properties may remain distinct.

- Processing
- Ordinary processing happens in this browser tab; the tool does not intentionally upload your source.
- Important limitation
- JavaScript checks and transformations cannot prove that application logic is correct. Test the result in its real project before publishing.
PRACTICAL EXAMPLE
Start with a small Array Utilities example
The built-in sample makes the accepted input visible before you use your own project data.Example input
[8, 4, 15, 8, 16, 23, 4, 42]Run the sample first, then change one value at a time so each result remains easy to explain.
What this example demonstrates
Parse an array, remove duplicates, sort, reverse, shuffle, chunk and calculate numeric summaries.
Keep the original file, review the generated result and test production code in its real application before publishing.
