WHY USE IT
For an undeclared colour with a clear fallback already in the script, Apply suggested fix adds that definition. You can inspect the change and undo it.
Syntax mistakes and missing variables show a line, column, code excerpt and explanation. Jump directly to the relevant part of the editor.
Import a JS file, download the original or cleaned JavaScript, and generate the presentation on your device without submitting source to our server.
HOW IT WORKS
Copy the ready-made prompt into Claude or your preferred assistant. Ask for a complete PptxGenJS script, then paste or import the response here.
Select Clean & check. Review the changes and errors. Use Apply suggested fix where available, or copy a repair prompt when the missing value needs the author’s input.
Choose a file name and select Create PowerPoint. The generator runs the checked script and downloads a real PPTX. Open the file to review its slide layout.
HOW CLAUDE CODE BECOMES SLIDES
Specify your topic, who will read the slides and how many slides you need. Ask for editable text, readable fonts, speaker notes and a self-contained PptxGenJS script. Review AI-generated factual content yourself.
A script typically creates one presentation with new PptxGenJS() or an imported alias, then adds slides. The cleaner replaces the supported library import and final writeFile with a browser export. It lists these changes and retains an original download.
Colour fallbacks can provide a clear suggested fix. Missing data, custom helpers or local images need more information; use the repair prompt. After downloading, open the PPTX in your presentation app and check fonts, spacing and slide content.
REAL EXAMPLES
slide.addText("My title", { color: PURPLE || "6C3483" });const PURPLE = "6C3483";The value is already written in the script. JavaScript still throws when an undeclared name appears before ||, so the declaration is needed.
const pptxgen = require("pptxgenjs");
const pres = new pptxgen();
pres.addSlide();
pres.writeFile({ fileName: "/mnt/user-data/outputs/talk.pptx" });const pptxgen = PptxGenJS;
const pres = new pptxgen();
pres.addSlide();
return pres;The original output folder is ignored. The download uses talk.pptx, and the old save callbacks are not executed.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Paste or import a complete PptxGenJS presentation script, select Clean & check, resolve the reported items and select Create PowerPoint. Use the prompt maker if you need Claude to write a suitable script first.
Yes. If the original code uses an undeclared colour such as PURPLE || "6C3483", the check offers Apply suggested fix. It adds the colour already given in the fallback. The fix is explicit and reversible.
No. A presentation script must create slides with PptxGenJS. Ordinary JavaScript, a slide outline or a JSON list of titles needs to be turned into a deck script first. Our prompt helps an AI assistant write that script.
It removes supported surrounding Markdown fences, adapts PptxGenJS imports, replaces one final writeFile and its callbacks, and formats indentation. It then checks syntax and missing variables. These operations do not execute the presentation script.
No. A known colour fallback supports a specific fix, but an unknown missing variable or helper has no reliable inferred value. Other problems show an explanation and a repair prompt. Runtime checks can reveal additional problems when you create the file.
This converter runs in your browser and needs no account or API key. You can bring a compatible script from any source. Access to Claude itself depends on your own Claude account and plan; this page is not connected to it.
Yes. Import .js, .mjs, .cjs or .txt, then download the cleaned JS or original source. Presentation scripts must fit within the 150 KiB processing limit.
PptxGenJS creates native PowerPoint objects for supported text, shapes, charts and tables. Embedded image pixels remain images. Review the exported deck in PowerPoint or compatible software.
Those dependencies need a Node.js environment and cannot be supplied here. Ask the author to make the deck self-contained with PptxGenJS, embedded image data and editable shapes, or run that script in the original environment.
The cleaning, checks and presentation generation happen in the current browser. The tool does not intentionally upload your source. Only run JavaScript you trust; source screening and worker isolation are not a complete security sandbox.
That is a folder in the environment where the AI script was designed to run. The cleaner keeps only the output file name and downloads the file through your browser instead of writing to that folder.
Yes. Undo restores the previous code change. Download original JS also keeps the source you imported or first cleaned.
